You will notice a similarity in all the above photos of powder rooms that we designed for our Calgary renovation projects. Whenever we stage a bathroom to photograph it, we always use a floral arrangement. Power rooms are small rooms with lots of hard textures like marble, tile and of course porcelain. By adding a floral arrangement these hard textures are softened, and this creates a more inviting and intimate space. The powder room is also one of the nicest places to place a small arrangement of flowers since it adds a sense of luxury. Don’t forget to add flowers to the bathrooms your guests use when you entertain – it’s such a simple thing and is so impressive!
