Fabric from Highland Court‘s Philip Gorrivan Collection
I love this pattern. It’s modern, masculine, has an incredible texture and is available in an array of wonderful colours. This collection by Philip Gorrivan for the fabric company Highland Court has a cool retro vibe handled in a sophisticated manner that isn’t kitschy.

I really like how Gorrivan used this fabric on the sectional in this room. Using a pattern like this on a large piece of furniture is a gutsy move, but it works really well here. And, paired with that lipstick red, it is genius! I find that very frequently, our Calgary interior design clients are afraid to choose something with as much personality as this textile for a large upholstered piece. Instead, most play it safe with a plain fabric. For a family or media room, why not shake things up and select a spunky geometric like this one? There’s no reason you have to play it safe in rooms which are meant for fun!
Cheers!
