Before – Photo property of Corea Sotropa Interior Design
We’ve finally finished the design and installation of the project we’ve been working on for Highbanks Society! A year ago we began the interior design for this non-profit agency that provides affordable housing and a sense of community to young moms looking to finish their schooling and begin a career. In September of last year I posted our conceptual design for the kitchen and lounge space that my Calgary interior design team created for Highbanks. After some stalls due to construction complications the project is finally complete and ready to be used by the residents and staff! I am so excited for Highbanks, and have some photos to share with you soon of the remainder of the project. But in the meantime, take a look at the office guest chairs!

Wow! I’m still in awe of how great these chairs that we brought for $50 turned out! We had the frames painted white and used a perky coral print from Quadrille for the upholstery. Quite the dramatic transformation!
Stay tuned for more photos of the project and special thanks to all the great suppliers and tradespeople who made this project possible.
Cheers!
Jacqueline

Thanks Danielle. I’m so happy with them, and that cheerful coral has put a perm-a-grin on my face!
Absolutely Gorgeous!!!
Hi Yvonne – it’s amazing how a coat of paint and modern fabric can make a shabby pair of chairs come to life! Thanks so much for the comment!

Barbara – thanks so much for stopping in & commenting on the chairs. I’m still amazed at the transformation myself!
OMG I LOVE THEM!!!!!! Holy cow. So amazing.
Ashley – I know they turned out better than I imagined! So happy with the Quadrille!
The chairs are stunning, as is the wallpaper! May I say, what a gracious act by your firm to undertake this worthy project.
Hi Siobhan – Thanks so much. It feels really good to be able to give back to such a worthy cause as this.
Just stunning, I love them. Fantastic job. What is the wallpaper? It is awesome as well.
Cheers,
Wendy
The wallpaper is from Crown Fabric and Wallcoverings. The navy blue trellis pattern looks great with the coral print, doesn’t it? Thanks so much for your very kind comments!
I love the wallpaper. Where can I find it?
Thanks Megan! It’s through a distributer named Crown which is available through interior designers.
